This position is generally filled by an individual who has prestige in the community, holds the respect of club members, and can properly conduct club meetings. He or she presides over all club meetings, including meetings of the Board of Directors and other governing bodies. The president is an ex-officio member of all committees, and performs such duties as formulating and carrying out programs, organizing support for programs that offer the best potential for increasing the strength vitality of the club, and other duties that usually pertain to this office.
